Hardcore with a classic NYC feel to it is really hard to find these days. But Wake Into The Nightmare does a pretty good job of styling their sound after some of the classic hardcore I am used to. These guys have been through their share of trials losing their original lead singer whom passed away in 2006, the band has pushed on and today is stronger than ever. Q: How did Wake Into The Nightmare get its start, what is the significance of the name Wake Into The Nightmare?

A: WITN started with three members, two whom are still in the band, just decided they wanted to start playing shows and have a lot of fun. The original vocalist passed away in 06′ and he came up with the name so in his honor we decided to keep the name.

A: No, everyone came from random local bands around the Baton Rouge area.
